Initially, yes, and I failed. I ended up bringing them to the shop that tinted my windows and they were able to do it properly.

Todd you tinted your tail lights? I’ve been toying with the idea myself. Had it done on my f150 and loved it. Just couldn’t see anything with the reverse lights until I added rigid industries flood lights on a switch. Do you have any issues backing up at night? I always back up into parking spots cause I’d rather not back out into parking lots to leave anywhere like a grocery store or anything like that.

No issues whatsoever. But as you can see by my pic above, I went with the lighter of the two tints my shop offered. My brakes, turn signals, and reverse lights still shine just as bright.
