  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Year End Deals/HAPP ???

The HAPP site isn't updated with information for the 2010 Genesis yet, and I don't want to wait anymore. I assume that this would effectively be the HAPP price for a 2010 V6, Tech package:

$39,020<Invoice price from Edmunds.com>-($41,800*.03)<3% of MSRP>+$800<freight>+$150<ad fee> = $38,716

Did I get that right? thanks.

Wow, $38.7 for a 2010 V6 Tech? I'm not sure if your math is correct, but you could get an almost identical 09 Tech for $4k less if it is.

mgoppert

Where did you get that deal? I haven't seen anything close to that how about the rest of you guys? The dealer would have taken a loss on the car at the price I have to imagine.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
ashs

I don't think that is correct. Just compare the Edmunds invoice and the HAPP price for the '09 and you can see that there is a significant difference.

For all those who have waited the 2010 pricing is now posted on the HAPP site and you can now print your claim form for both the 2010 V6 & V8 models.
The pricing on the V6 is set at a GREAT price of $ 36,550.00
the V8 drops in at $38,485.00. Truly great pricing for a well equiped autos.

Hey guys just for some more info, tonight i JUST BOUGHT the 2009 4.6 w/ Tech (blk/blk) for 36K flat before taxes. I requested rebadging and minutes later after signing papers there stood in front of me a beautiful black genesis with badges. the dealership had a few of them on hand.

No HAPP, just some good salespeople knowing exactly how to sell a car. I am very very satisfied. Oh yea I am in the Washington DC/Northern VA area.

BTW, the 2010 tech pkg 4.6 bottom grill is really really ugly.

Totally agree on on the 2010 bottom grill - yuk!

On the $36K flat, did that include the dealer fee? How many miles on the vehicle? My dealer says they will not sell it for that - they want 37.8K plus tax. I think they can do better.

This past weekend, there was a local Los Angeles area Hyundai dealer that was selling their remaining 3.8 Tech's for under $34K (including conquest/loyalty, college grad, and military discounts). I assume that it's probably possible to get $36K on a 2009 Tech with at least a conquest/loyalty rebate.
