Actually... all kidding aside, I feel your pain.

When I asked her what happened the answer was "I don't know" we both have the same insurance and she told the same story I did and they ruled her fault within an hour of the accident taking place, so at least nothing out of my pocket.

I heard back from the body shop, $10K in repairs. Apparently the rear quarter panel has to be completely replaced, same for the rear passenger door panel. Both door handles replaced, driver door dent repair, rear bumper dent repair, rear wheel reconditioned, the bottom chrome molding on both doors, and the fender surface. They were also surprised to find that apparently when she took the driver's mirror off and it bent back toward the car it dented in the windshield pillar which needs to be replaced or dent removed (i forget). 2-2.5 weeks. Apparently Hyundai has all the parts in stock which was great to hear.

As a note for any of you with Geico, when they authorized the rental as a "comparable car" it was intermediate. I politely explained that a sentra is not comparable to the car and although it said Hyundai it was a $52K car. They looked at the car and the car size, and said I was right and upgraded to full-size so a Chevy Malibu (with leather). A small consolation but when I was driving clients the day after I needed the extra space.
