  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi everyone. I've been browsing here for a long time and recently joined to add my 2 cents.

I am the Business Development and Internet Sales Director at a top 3 Hyundai Dealer in the country. I would love to assist anyone with any sales related questions, availability concerns, lease quotes, retail quotes, anything really.

Feel free to message me or continue on in this thread.

I'm also the proud owner of a 2015 5.0. So I literally know the Genesis from top to bottom.

Also, i'm very familiar with BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, and other comparable vehicles.

I look forward to communicating with you all! :grouphug:

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

Two questions I see regularly:

1. Will Android Auto and/or Apple Car Play be available in our lifetime on the Ultimate () or non-Ultimate 2015/16 Genesis? By our (my) lifetime, I'm talking the next 50 years (hopefully).
2. Are there any 2016 5.0's available anywhere in the country (USA)?

Hey Sammy, did you get my PM w/ VIN? Looking forward to hear from you, thnx.

Welcome aboard, sir! Thank you for signing up!

1. Unfortunately, NO IDEA
2. No 2106 5.0s available as of yet. We have still been receiving brand new 2015 5.0s and 2015 5.0 demos recently.

I never received it! Still just the original messages. I was wondering if my message sent out correctly because I never got it. I PM you my email as well.

Thanks for your positive response. You are the kindest, most helpful person I've ever seen in a car forum. I'll be sure to read all of your prior posts so I can have a fraction of the knowledge you do. With your expertise, I'm surprised you even have time to share your wealth of knowledge with us.

1. Worth a shot
2. Just curious as I have heard the 2016 5.0s are nonexistent. Interesting new 2015s are still showing up.

Sammy,

Thank you for joining our little community, one question that might be of interest;

Now the G90 is officially announced, do you happen to know if the G80 will arrive roughly at the same time? Or is it too early to tell?

I am asking because the G80 appears to be advertised on the genesis motors web site ( http://www.genesismotorsusa.com/index.html#/vehicledetails)

Sammy, welcome and thank you for joining! Another question folks will ask from time-to-time is about the Hyundai Protection Plan. It's not entirely unheard of for folks to shop for the HPP from other dealers/locations than where they purchased their vehicle. Perhaps it's something worth considering.

That site says they both wil arrive this summer in the Q&A section.

Not to take away from Sammy's offer to contribute here, but the dealer network is not a direct line to Hyundai corporate. His assistance with his experience as a large Hyundai reseller can certainly add to the information here a far as the selling and service processes.

Availability of unreleased features, strategic planning and other corporate functions are not going to be shared extensively with the dealer network. Why? For one reason, they are resellers and many also resell other competing cars under their stores. In general, I have found dealer personnel to have information at the same time or many times after it is out. No knock on them, but it's a car resell business, not the manufacturer. There are exceptions, but a dealer is not going to be a pipeline into Hyundai's plans that will be shared here.

It's still too early to tell. Seeing as the 2016 3.8 is already out, I dont see the G80 coming out in the same model year.

If I were a gambling man, I would bet on G80+G90 for 2017....

I have to agree to a certain extent. But we are privy to upcoming releases, Hyundai announcements, and specific details prior to them being public knowledge.

This is more specifically relevant further up the totem pole i.e. General Managers, District Managers etc....

Which will likely not be shared here, based on the fact you have detailed who you are and your store...

Where dealer information would be helpful to those shopping here however is current finance and lease factors and rates, which tend to be closely guarded for the wrong reasons.

I think that is what was said above. The 2017 G80 and G90 will be released the summer of 2016 for the USA market.

I agree with this.
