No rear tow hook??

I was trying to put a rear tow hook but there is nowhere in there to hook it with.....does anyone know?

For example in link below if you see in the rear bumper there is a little hook where you can attach aftermarket and OEM tow hooks.

Or something like this to attach the hook

However in our gennys there is nothing like that...see my pics

Are you wanting to tow a trailer with a Genesis? I posted a link to trailer hitches available for Genesis in another thread, with a video of the installation, and based on how they installed the trailer hitch, it seems that the such a hook as you are describing is not installed on the Genesis.

Yeap...i meant the tow hook seems like there isn't any spot

The tow hook screws in the the bumper (must remove knock-out first). There is one in front and one in the rear bumper. The hook itself is in the trunk with the jack, etc. This is all explained in the Owner's Manual. Very similar to many other late model cars.

You need to spend a little more time reading your owner’s manual to find the obvious answers to all of your posted questions. Pg. 6-22 identifies not only the locations to install the emergency towing hooks, but also under what conditions they can and cannot be utilized

Yeah the main reason is that i dunno where the manual is! i remember looking through the first day i got my genny....but i couldnt find it after my GF cleaned my room. I need to look for it ASAP!

You can download the manual from hmaservice.com. I have all my car manuals saved as pdf.s on my android phone.

Sorry about busting your butt about reading the "Owner’s Manual".

Here's how to get a manual and other documents that pertain to your vehicle.

To view manuals on line do the following:

Log on to www.hamservice.com Registration it's free.

Select Shop from left hand menu.

Enter VIN or year & model select “OM” from bar above VIN number select what manual you want view

Or just select “OM” from bar and see all available manuals for all years and models
