  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi.

I'm looking for a 2009, 2010, or 2011 genesis sedan. I'd appreciate any advise (what issues to be aware of / look for) you folks have.

If there's a FAQ about this, please send me a link.

Much appreciated.

Suspension improvement for MY 2010 and 2011 has been significant, and if you use the search feature here, you will find lots of detailed discussion. Avoid 09 for that reason. There is lots of information here, but no FAQ. Good luck. They're great cars.

Thanks.

I drove a 2011 and thought the stock suspension would do. I have not driven an 09 or 10 yet.

regards

2010 and 2011 have same suspension.

For 2009, there was the early 2009, and mid-year 2009 suspension versions (determined by build date listed in the driver's door jam). I think the cut-off date was about April 2009, but not sure (exact date is posted somewhere in this forum).
