Changing door lock setting

It should work with all model with push button start.

It worked on my 2011 4.6 prem/tech.

Didn't work for me either. 09 Tech Package. You guys are just pushing the lock, then unlock right after it, right? That's when I get the red blinking light.

My 2009 didn't work either. I thought I read a long time ago that the dealer could change it by setting a switch in the car.

Press lock and unlock buttons simultaneously till the red light comes on.

if it doesnt work... i know with bmw , with every update they did ... they broke things and added a few things.

Press on the lock and unlock on the keyfob till you see the red light on the key blink. That's how you change it.

I'm not 100% sure. I know its due for an update, but with my student loans, I couldn't afford it last month

Funny, when I changed my door unlock setting to open all doors with one press, I think the speed activated door locking feature went away. Anybody else?
