  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Noticed there are about 50 unsold NEW 2011 Genesis 4.6 sedans in the country.

Dealers asking $31,900-$34,900.

What would you pay for a new, untitled 2011 V8 Genny???

How many mile on them? An untilted car can have lots of demo miles.

I have a dealership within 75 miles thats has a red/tan 4.6 with 2,000 miles on it. matter of fact i drove the car for a week while my 2010 genesis was in for service. they are asking $33,990

To answer your question - some are demos, some have less than 100 miles on them. One dealer has three unsold, all with under 100 miles - asking $34,900.

Problem is, when you drive it off their lot, you now own a low mileage used car. Lucky to get about $25k trade in on it.

I think it totally depends on how long you want to keep a car. The longer you keep it the better a deal it is. They may also be willing to go lower because they might also have 2012s in inventory.

But you get full OEM warranty like on the new car (which was the case in my case). And I plan to keep it for a long time (unless I hit state lottery jackpot).

BE CAREFUL with this statement as some companies begin the warranty at the "in-service" date and not the "sold" date. For instance, an executive or demo car could have an in-service date many months earlier than when it is actually sold even though it has never been titled.

Always ask to get the warranty dates in writing.

^^^This. We bought our Subaru Tribeca as a used demo car. It was never titled since it was a dealer car. It was 12 months old with 8k miles. Warranty was from the demo inservice date.
