The dealer gave me the cable as an after thought, as it wasn't on my bill of materials or invoice. I've wondered if he gave me a dud cable, or if there's a design flaw.

Do you have a case on your iPhone? The Hyundai plug is thicker than Apple's plug. I have to remove my Otterbox to get my cable to fit in my iPhone properly.
