DVD-audio not playing on 2013 Genesis

I just bought my 2013 Genesis 5.0 R-Spec. Love the car, but my DVD-audio discs only play the DVD-video track. It will not register the 96/24 advanced resolution audio. I tried my disc on another vehicle at the dealership - same problem. I test drove a 2012 last year and am pretty sure it worked on that one. Did they change something this year? Has anyone else run into this problem?

I have a 2013 3.8 with Tech pkg. I recently purchased a Marvin Gaye DVD-A. I have the opposite. The sound is awesome but it doesn't show the cover. A safety message comes up saying it won't show video while in drive. There is no video though, just a cover of the album.

Anyone have the same problem???

The issue I have is not that the video is playing but not the audio. I don't care about the video. The screen turns off when you put the car in drive anyway. The problem is the only thing that plays is the DTS or Dolby Digital track and not the 96/24 track.

Are you using the audio menu on the disc to set it up before driving? If not, DD is usually the default. What are your audio choices there?

The audio choices are DTS, sometimes Dolby Digital, and PCM stereo. MLP lossless doesn't even show up. In reality, the MLP lossless should be the default. It is on the Mercedes, Acura, Lexus and Porsche systems. I've tried King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King, Eagles - Hotel California, Anathema - We're Here Because We're Here and Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet.

Assuming those really are DVD-A's (I have the KC, PT, and Anathema too) then you're right: default is the lossless. Though I don't recall any choices displayed visually. Only "groups" which are trial and error, sometimes yielding bonus tracks (PT).
Another assumption: the R Spec comes with DVD-A capabilities? The 17 speaker Lexicon? If so, take it to the dealer. They may have to swap out the head unit.

It is possible, although, I haven't tried to put in a DVD while the car is moving. It may default to the menu, which would mean that I have to put the car in park in order to start playing the DVD.

If this is an issue with all the 2013s, maybe they could give me the software from the 2012, because this doesn't seem to be an issue for the 2012.
