  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I need to get my driver's seat to go to back further. It seems unusually limited. Then I compared it to my passenger seat and found that the passenger seat goes back about 3 inches further. Are both seats supposed to go back the same maximum amount??? It seems they should be the same, but mine are not.
It's a 2012 Genesis 3.8. Thanks:confused:

I am traveling (with a rental:() - so I cannot tell exactly, but there doesn't seem to be a discrepancy like that on mine. Both seem to go back quite far - perfectly fine for me at 6 ft.

Both of my seats go back the same distance and are fine for me at 6"2". You may want to check under the seat to see if anything is jammed there preventing proper movement. (If you haven't already)
