If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue with the flying H logo on the steering wheel. Looks like the clear part is separating from the silver/chrome section of the emblem and has bubbling. Looks worse in person but a pic is below. I use Meguiars Gold Class Leather and Vinyl cleaner for the interior and Lexol only for the seats and dash insert on occasion. Would just replace it with the KDM airbag unit but I'm still searching for an R-Spec as an upgrade.

So this has happened to nobody else? Car is not garage kept nor are the windows tinted.

60 month 60k mile warranty item.

Buy a replacement genesis emblem. You can find them on the korean auto imports website. Fyi.

If this is the same logo I ordered from Korean motors, don’t waste your money. It looks like something that came from a Cracker Jack box not something that belongs on a $40 - $50K car. I put mine on my toolbox.

I will bring this to their attention when I go in for my next oil change at 38k miles.

I have the same logo and guess what... It is also on my toolbox. That stick on emblem is too cheap for the car.

Yes I agree but it still looks way better than that silly looking crooked H.
Besides who's gonna look at it at up close and personal everyday?

Any chance its just a plastic film over the chrome that can be peeled off?

Found a good deal on the KDM wing airbag. I'll post pictures for you so you can decide if you would like to go this route. Could not resist the good deal.

Not a film that can be peeled off. Guess I just got a defective one from the factory.

Had looked at those a while back but didn't want to buy since I'm still trying to find a R-Spec. How much are they running now out if curiousity?

Got it used on ebay. For under $200.00. You can find it on SFR for $245.00. Makes the interior look a lot more luxurious. This should fit on the R-Spec as well.

Took car in for service the other day and was denied a new airbag for free. They said I got something on it. I said no, if that was the case all the metal trim pieces would be bubbling/ fading which they are not. It all gets cleaned with he same stuff.

Ended up buying one used off the forum. No more ugly bubbling flying H for me.
