  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Any plans for new app downloads for the car?

In the "download center," there are only two apps for download, and they are pretty useless.

Anyone know if they are planning to add more apps soon...like iHeartRadio, Spotify, etc?

You must have an Ultimate - there are no apps to download for the larger screen, premium system yet. The smaller screen system in the Signature/Tech models has 2 (aHa and Soundhound, I believe?). Our Ultimates already have aHa preinstalled, though.

ahh got it. i really wonder if there are gonna be any more "apps". if I know correctly, they are using an android based system. i would like to see some third party apps running.

I would not hold your breath - car manufacturers are not good software vendors. Best to hope for better integration with your phone (ex. CarPlay), where most apps live and are regularly updated.

Just picked up my 5.0 ultimate. Can anyone confirm that there are no app downloads for ultimate? Just want to make sure I am not missing anything.

....and this makes no sense. Why would Hyundai do this!!!!

Believe the two systems run different OS's, which could be the issue...

It has 1/2 of what the $38,000 car has since aHa is preinstalled - you're just missing SoundHound, if that is something you wanted.

I don't have aHa on my Ultimate. If I do I'm not sure where it is.

When I plug my iPhone in, Pandora and aHa show up under Media. You also need to have the apps installed on your phone for them to work - but they both showed up in the Genesis Media menu before I had ever installed them on my iPhone (5s).

Weird. I can play pandora from my iPhone thru Bluetooth but there is no pandora app on my car screen.

Is your phone connected via USB? I only see the Pandora and aHa apps if connected via USB. You have full integrated control with the DIS controls that way and get album art too. It works really well.

Got it... I was using the old style aux/usb cable from Hyundai. Switched over to the usb cable and it works really great !!! Thanks for the tip.

The cable you switched too, is it the one that Hyundai sells with the car or is it your regular cable?
