If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Brought the car in today to have a clear bra put on and they had received the trunk liner they ordered so it was installed.

I have had these in all my cars and basically they are a piece of rubber/plastic with a lip around the edge that lays in the bottom to protect the carpeting. This thing is a work of art! Even is designed with folds in it so you can access the spare without removal or fighting with it. Material used is something I have never seen before. Geeez, now I won't want to dirty the liner.

Nice... I'm being cheap and just threw my 2010 trunk liner in there for now. It's a bit oversized, but still works fine.

Love the liner. I made sure they added it as one of the freebies I negotiated. Gotta protect that beautiful trunk!

Wait until you see it as the pictures do not do it justice. Looks like it would be at home in a Bentley ;)

Is this the same trunk liner others have reported a bad smell coming from in another thread?

You just had to come and rain on the whole damn parade, didn't ya? :)

Is that the Hyundai trunk liner or an aftermarket one? The pics of the Hyundai one I saw online look different... Please let me know. That is awesome looking.

No smell whatsoever. As for which brand I assume it is the Hyundai Premium Liner as shown on the site however I will ask my dealer to confirm.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
so apparently there's another thing, called cargo/carpet trunk mat, which is a different beast.

That would be the standard run of the mill unit. That one is not listed on the CDN accessories. According to my dealer the front and rear mats (Weather Tech style) are also made from the same material I got in the trunk liner. See them here along with the trunk liner. http://www.hyundaicanada.com/pages/showroom/Accessories.aspx?model=genesis

You Canadians get better accessories than HyundaiUSA is showing - i like that trunk liner and the mats, but they are not present on the USA site:

in looking at the Hyundai USA and Hyundai Canada websites, under accessories, it appears that they sell completely different trunk mats. The USA one is called Reversible Cargo Tray and costs $100.00 USD, and the Canadian one is called Premium All-Weather Cargo Tray and costs $190.95 CAD.

Right now, $1.00 USD is equal to about $1.10 CAD.

So I guess I can call a Canadian Hyundai Dealer and pay to have them ship it to the US... I think the Canadian model looks much nicer that the ones here in the US.

There are several US Hyundai dealer who sell parts online. I wonder if there are any Canadian dealers who do that? Otherwise, it may be tough to get them to ship it to you, especially to ship to USA from Canada.

I wonder is someone can get HMA to find out where Hyundai Canada got their trunk liners and ask them to stock it. Hyundai Canada also has some other accessories that Hyundai USA does not have.

Apparently, this is the "American" beast. It's what came in mine. Cloth on one side, rubber on the other. Not nearly as robust on the rubber side as my Azera had, but kind of clever to give you the option of having either surface IMO. The Canadian version is much nicer, but since I have a rubber (or cloth) trunk liner. I'm happy. Plus, it's in the trunk; it doesn't get get a lot of face time.

FlySwatter I believe you are correct. I have the cargo tray that is cloth on one side and rubber on the other. I like ours a lot although the other version shown in this thread looks good as well.

:)
