  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My Genesis is a former enterprise rent-a-car. Although it's not too noticeable there are some marks on the rear bumper cover presumably from where lazy people couldn't lift their luggage into the trunk. The other Genesis on the dealership lot I was looking at was horrible in the back, mine isn't tooooo terrible but it still bugs me. Wondering if it's worth having it re-sprayed.

A picture is worth a thousand words :D

Some scuffs can be buffed right out with a decent scratch remover / Rubbing Compound and good wax to seal it, without the need to spend $$$+ for a respray.
It really depends how bad / deep these scratches are?

Find a body shop and get a quote. That may help you decide whether it is worth it.

If you are not far from Fountain Valley in Orange County, Fountain Valley Body Works Express advertises bumper painting on any car for $350. They have done very good work for me in the past. They have two locations the one on Euclid St. is the one for bumper repair.

Washington Auto Body near Normandie and Washington will paint a bumper cover for $250. They painted the bumper cover on my 2012 black G twice. They did a very good job with the black color.
