  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I was just checking out some videos and ran across an H-Trac 3.8 in the 2014 Paris auto show with 19" wheels.
This is one of my biggest gripes with the 3.8 model, no option to get the superior 19's (at least in the U.S.).
Just wondering if this was done for the show or will the option be available in the future.
Maybe Hyundai is switching all 2015 Genesis sedan models to the 19" wheels?
Could be a regional thing?
I'll be purchasing one next fall, I'm hoping that these wheels will be available by then.

not avail on the 3.8 in the us, canada and oconus gets them.. it annoyed me also so i took the aftermarket route

I saw the 19" was standard on the Saudi Arabia models. In fact every trim level of the Genesis comes with the 19" option.

In Kuwait, 19" wheels come standard from the lowest trim 3.8 V6. However, 18" wheels are available on the 3.0 V6.

H-Trac isn't available in the middle-east as far as I know.

Well it's definitely not going to stop me from getting the H-Trac 3.8, I live in Minnesota and currently drive a 2013 Genesis Coupe 3.8 R-Spec for summer and 2013 Elantra Limited as a winter car. I really want to get back to a single car and I really like what Hyundai did with the 2015 Genesis sedan.
I suppose aftermarket wheels are an option, but dropping 40k+ on a car it would be nice to have some manufacturer provided wheel options.

Look at the lights, these aren't yellow DRL, actually there is no yellow lights at all, looks like it has the option with front and side cameras, also at the wheel under cruise control those 2 buttons are different, there is no BlueLink, it's not for US market certainly, instead of BlueLink button is something different, may be those who has H-Track familiar with those buttons, but I don't have them in Ultimate version.

Frankly, I'd rather there be a 20" accessory wheel option for both the V6 and V8 models, like many competitors have. By making it an option, that will keep the costs the same for them with having 18" where's standard for the V6 and 19" wheels standard for the V6.
