For those who want a heated steering wheel (and don't have one)

I posted in another thread how to make the heated/cooled seats turn on automatically. It will take some work, but it isn't that bad to replicate what i have done.

You know, I just might consider this. And before anyone calls me a wuss for wanting a heated steering wheel (as I have seen repeatedly posted in the forum), my hands ache like the devil in cold due to cold weather injury received in the 80's in the military.

My concern with this product is that it sounds like it takes 3 hours to charge. If it has a removable battery pack that I can bring inside to charge overnight, that wouldn't be too big a deal. If it only charges via power outlet in the car, I wonder if that would be problematic? Wish I had an enclosed garage. That would render this moot.

Meh, 1st world problems I suppose.

If only there were an item that could be easily placed over the hands during cold weather - something that allowed finger movement and was lined with some kind of warm fabric and could be quickly removed. No batteries required.

What do you think I was wearing when I GOT frostbite? Any way, I wear gloves, and thick ones in the winter months. I don't cry myself to sleep every night over the matter, but a heated steering wheel sounds kind of nice.
