  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey Guys -

A while ago, I had posted about how much I personally like "fender badges". A lot of cars have them, and I really think it adds such a classy touch to the side of the car. Like the Cadillac V, the 392 Challengers, the BMW M, any of the Mercedes, etc... Even my 1995 Impala SS, I put 1962 Impala badges on the fenders for that final touch. For examples of other cars, see picture attached.

So, I was trying to find the small Genesis Winged badge from the Airbag, if that was sold seperately somehow, because I felt that was a good size, but it was not available.

Well, I took it upon myself to approach KAI about the possibility of them actually making these, because I think it would be a great Appearance Modification, while still looking Factory and Classy. They agreed, and are producing small winged badges, for the fenders of the Genesis!

We have been in contact for several months, and around the end of January, they will become available.

So, I thought I'd give everyone a heads up that this is another classy mod that we can accentuate the Gen with. (see picture KAI sent me of the badges)

Thoughts? Anyone as excited as me?

To each their own. I personally don't like fender badges unless you're talking about engine size numbers or the old school V8 symbols that chevy and ford had...those were classy.

Now-a-days though, I don't see a need for them on a modern car.

KAI? Is that the Arizona company with the F rating from the Better Business Bureau? They are so poor with customer service that the don't even have a phone number anymore.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

Not sure abot that - I don't really know. This is Korean Auto Imports / Sherwood Automotive. (KAI)

I'm impressed that you actually got in touch with anybody over there...

Back to topic.
IMO, please NO.
Don't look right from the pic.
To each his own.

Thumbs down from me, also.

Yeah, another thumbs down from me. Especially if you already have wings on the front and back. The number badge would look better imho

Same company. You are in bed with some bad boys. Monumentally poor customer service/fraud. I had three good deals with them some years ago before they "went south" and joined the dark side.

I added ti Korean GT 380 as fender badges and I also changed out the 3.8 in the rear.

I love the way it looks

Just looking, I am wondering if the 2015 fender isn't too sculpted for it to work (I. E. No flat spot in the appropriate location).

Rear rebadged, no big deal, although the popo were confused and asked "what is it?".

Don't do it thru them I got my roof spoiler for half the cost with their same supplier.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Baaaaaaaad service and they always have a excuse event thru facebook.

(see picture KAI sent me of the badges)

Just wish they would send me a picture of the Black Ice pillar trim they were supposed to ship back in December.

Not a huge fan of any more emblems on the car, but while you are in contact with KAI, can you get them to come up with a $20-30 logo puddle light solution? :)

I would probably prefer the 5.0 or the R-Spec badges for the fender.
