  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Cold Draft with Heated Seats

Feat?

I have corrected mine however their is still a problem as this is supposed to be automatic This is for those with DIS and the big screen. I had set the vent to floor however I did not notice I was in passenger mode so I got little to no hot air at my feet. :o After selecting dual, there is more than enough heat to keep my feet warm. Good news is once you select feet on the screen it remains so as I have been monitoring this for the past week to see if it defaults to something else but so far no. I would call this partially automatic IMHO.

Umm for someone who's usually such a technophile I seem to be plain stoopid with our baby: can you set out STEP FOR STEP INCLUDING PRECISELY WHAT DEVICE YOU'RE TOUCHING AND SCREEN BY SCREEN how you DO this!!! Pretty pretty please with Genesis on top?! I have the Ultimate if information needed. :grouphug: :D

Under the nav unit you have a bunch of real physical buttons, not on the screen. Hit the one labeled climate and now the climate screen comes up on the nav unit showing you where the air is blowing via arrows. Hit the dual button to select both passenger and drivers side. Hit the button showing the ventilation options and keep pushing this until you toggle to the footwell option. Done deal. All switches mentioned are in the row below the nav screen, not on the nav screen.

Can you confirm when you switch yours to just blow on your feet, that it cuts off all air going to the windshield? Mine does not.

Will do but not until tomorrow as I swapped my car for my truck and it's at the office right now.

I believe that is fairly normal with all manufacturers, to keep some amout of warm air blowing on the windshield when set to the heat (floor) position, to keep the windshield from fogging up.

Have not seen any comments on this lately, but I think the problem stems from the rear center vents. If they are set to cool and you have the heat on in front, you will feel a cold draft. The reverse is true as well. The simple thing is to make sure they are off.

Press the climate button on the dash to see if they are on and if they are flowing hot or cold air.
