There are times when you have to say "what was this guy thinking?" Don't know what his credentials are but he should stay out of auto journalism. It is definitely not his area of expertise.

I like how he starts off calling it a $50k car.... talks about his V6 tester (Starting at ~$34k).... then talks about the $55k options (17 speaker + 9.2" display)...then back to $50k.... pretty disingenuous based on that alone.

He compares it to a Sonata to get people thinking lower not higher like they should be: LEXUS GS /AUDI A6/BMW 5/MB E350/E550, etc.

But what else do you expect? Either he took it upon himself to try to disparage the car or Toyota told him to do it.

Here is the second line from his linkedin:

"I'm currently a copywriter for Saatchi & Saatchi LA creating digital and print content for Toyota USA."
