  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Huddleston, how are the brakes compared to stock? I guess you probably wouldn't notice much difference unless they got hot, but just curious if you'd noticed anything in everyday driving.

I haven't really driven the car hard enough to notice a difference. around twisty roads they perform well but the stock ones did too.

it might be, I never lowered my 2013 so I didn't get a good look at the suspension.

Huddleston did you change your brake pads during the same time you changed the rotors?
If so what brake pads did you go with? Have there been issues with brake dust since the rotor changes?

I did not change my pads when I upgraded the rotors. with only 3000 miles on them I figured they had a lot of life left!

teaser of the photo and video shoot images.... they turned out great! I will start a new thread in the modifications subforum in addition to posting the pictures here.

Amazying!

How does the hardwired dash cam work? You get 360 view? Can u view on navi? Any pics of how it looks mounted on windshield?

Thanks

great pictures

The dash cam is what is mounted to the left of my rear view mirror. It's just wired to draw power from the cars battery so there are no cords in the interior. Footage is recorded on and can be viewed from a memory card

Thanks guys! Stay tuned for the next round of mods and additional photos and video!

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I have a dash cam running off the cigarette lighter. Where did you tap into 12V up by the rear-view mirror?

Actually, my dash-cam needs 5V (and most with a cigarette adapter do). If I do find a 12V source, I'll still have to step it down.
