  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Huddleston's Build Thread

lol me no say nothing

Hah. Duly noted. I only know about them because I used to install & configure them in our squad cars back in the day. Just be forewarned - the use of them in some states ranks considerably higher than a traffic/moving infraction. Also - don't be surprised if they ineffective in several areas, as the end up using different patterns and timings for trigger. Just my $.07. :)

First off Huddleston beautiful build, just finished looking through all 43 pages and the transformation. I have had my '15 5.0 with the fastest color around like you :) for just over a year now and just hit 10,000 miles. So thought it was time to start playing around and modding the beauty. I have reached out to local shop Vivid Racing here in Arizona and they are in the process of working with me. They did inform me that the problem with the factory ECU is no one except 1 company has cracked the coding. The software they made is also pretty garbage. Blood Type Racing is pretty much the only US shop that has it as well. They get decent results but as I understand it, the factory ecu doesn't have the hardware or resolution to really fine tune it for things like turbos, superchargers, etc. The best solution would be a standalone engine management solution. With one of those, the skit is literally the limit and we can do some really cool things. The biggest drawback with them, is because they are a motorsport ecu, there is no support for emissions control or readiness monitors, therefor won't pass an ODB2 emissions test. So starting in June of this year they are going to take my car for about 8 weeks and do their magic. If you look at the custom work Vivid Racing has done in the past they are known for being the first on quite a few different cars out there. Very excited and I will keep the forum updated as having that Twin Turbo setup like the SEMA car would be amazing.

Hey Huddleston - What hub measurement and offset did you get when buying the Velgens? I’m looking at purchasing a ‘15 Genesis 5.0 and want to get my mods lined up to purchase them right away and love the look/height of your ride.
