  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

any chance the 5.0 base suspension is lower than the 3.8

is the base 5.0 suspension supposed to be firmer than the 3.8 ? I know for sure the steering is a bit noticeable harder, but can't say for sure about the suspension because the 19 inch thinner lower profile tires can be the culprit to the harsher sportier ride.

what exactly changed in the base 5.0 suspension

The 5.0 has a Continuous Damping Control (CDC) suspension which helps increase control of body motions and body roll.

thats for the ultimate trim air suspension.

can anyone confirm if the 5.0 is actually a bit lower ? i think its a bit lower.

hyundai should have made all dh genesis low from the factory like how bmw does it

So how's the overall comfort in 5.0 compare to the 3.8? I was thinking of upgrading to 5.0 but if the suspension is any firmer I'll stay with v6

I had a 3.8 loaner one time and I found the 5.0 had the better ride.

maybe the suspension feels stiffer due to the heavier 19 inch wheels and lower profile tires.

That would make the ride somewhat more "harsh" than the 18" setup.
