3 month Old and Smashed by a 18 wheeler

Well I haven't add an accident in over 20 year, and I just got trashed by a 18 wheeler in slow traffic in Mississauga (Dixie Road and 401). The driver pushed me on the side of the concrete wall for a good 750 Feet before he stopped. He completely destroyed my 2 rear wheels and Mag, the rear and front side door and the fender and rear bumper. I was stock in heavy traffic. I could not move, I had to watch this happened in slow motion.

Now 21000$ of Damage, and 30 days to make the repair…..

I'm glad you are all right.

I think I had more damage when a Taxi hit me at Yonge and Eglinton.

West Toronto (Mississauga/Brampton) is king of the accidents though

My friend runs a body shop, people with damage like this will say it is not too bad and can he fix it a day.

I am glad that you are OK, cars can be repaired or replaced, you can't be.

Just got out of the 401 in the right lane, the 18 wheeler was in the middle, we both turn right and after that he started to turn on me, I horned him like crazy but he said he never saw me or heard me... we where in heavy traffic rolling about 5km/h...

I am absolutely ok this happened in Slow motion..

Based on his description - this is only the side the truck hit him on. He said the got pushed into a concrete barrier - so chances are the other side is pretty jacked too - especially considering the 21k in damage.

No fun - glad you are alright man. Post up the other pix when you can and let us know how the repairs go.

Yes but I don't have the detail yet, the insurance will let me know when the get the police report

The thing is, the other side only got wheels and mag damage, there was a 5 inches concrete lips that save my other side he was pushing me into that if I would have turn my wheels toward the wall my cars would have climbed the lips and then Ciao right side

yay! always nice to get the car back! mine goes into the body shop Monday and I cant wait to get her back in like new condition!

Got mine back in time for the Thanksgiving trip home (6.5 hrs). Wasn't looking forward to that in a Nissan Versa!
