I assume you tuned your OE ECU? My 2.0T tune with a replacement was ~800 with sale pricing, and that is for a much larger market segment, relatively speaking.Yeah pricing is a bit steep. I bought their tune for my Genesis Coupe for about $500 a while back and even that was pricey given that tuning on other platforms can be significantly less expensive. I think $600 would be my ceiling on pricing.
Agreed↑↑↑Personally, I would never alter my OE ECU while under warranty.

Ugh... 5.0 tunes please!!!
Anyone know if this tune was tested on pre 2/10/2010 build dates? There were updates to the engine on later 2010's and up.
Sounds like you are saying there are minor differences between the MPI engines before they switched over to the GDI? You have a link showing what they updated before the switch over? Would like to know what was updated.
Link to their shop page. Separate tunes for the MPI and GDI engines.

2009 and early 2010 cars were advertised at 375hp while later cars were 385hp (this isn't referring to the difference between in fuel types).
My search for the difference between the two engines led me here: http://www.genesisowners.com/hyundai-genesis-forum/showthread.php?t=4784
That thread has a link to this article from Car & Driver: http://blog.caranddriver.com/stuff-we-learned-today-hyundai-genesis-v-8-to-receive-10-hp-bump/
"At a Hyundai event today, we learned that the 4.6-liter Tau V-8 in the Genesis sedan is slated to receive a 10-hp increase—to 385—for 2010. Torque remains at 333 lb-ft and fuel economy stays flat at 17 mpg city and 25 highway. The impressive Tau has also received a host of small upgrades for the 2010 Genesis, including an additional flap in its two-stage variable intake for better breathing, the intake and exhaust valves are larger, a quieter timing chain has been installed, the pistons get a chromium-nitride coating to reduce friction, and the oil filter switches to a cartridge-type unit. But likely the most noticeable improvement is a claim of more aggressive-responding transmission programming when driven hard."
My 2010 has a September 2009 build date and the engine change is believed to have taken place in February 2010.
Not sure how true all of that information is. Hyundai's part numbers on the exhaust valve and oil filter are the same across 2009-2012. Intake valve and timing chain does show a production split.
