  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone do these yet? I was looking at swapping out my WOOD for CF. Is it easy?

a link to what you are talking about would be helpful.

due to the curves and design of the surfaces I would think that a kit that simply lays on top of the existing surfaces would look cheap and definitely not like an OEM item. Other cars where the wood is not used as heavily are ideal for these kits but the Genesis with the curved surfaces and the abundance with which the wood was used may present a problem if you want the CF to look like it belongs there.

I have used overlays several times and was very happy with the results .
Don't buy the lowest price stuff and when installing take you time

I have used them as well. Much of the success depends on the design of the interior though. Some cars with many curved surfaces and rounded edges would still leave some of the original wood exposed. Doors would be relatively straight forward however the dash I think could be difficult given its design, especially around the Nav screen.
