Expecting somebody you don't like?![]()
I had to store it somewhere. I would just throw a blanket over it when the pizza guy came to the door. Life was different when i was single.

+1 it even fits my hk45ci keep my glock 27 in the center console while driving
Can't speak for myself but some folks have v6 so they don't have an option of making a quick getaway lol.Let us kick this up a notch..
Has anyone ever found the need to defend themselves while in the car? Or is it more like a comfort level? sort of like knowing I have a spare tire in the boot! (sorry, the trunk)...
I find my finger as well as my right foot with the help of those 429hp under the hood, are far more responsive than fumbling for something in the hope I can find it in time, to make any real difference in most situations.
Like everything, practice makes perfect. "Fumbling" shouldn't be in your carry vocabulary.I find my finger as well as my right foot with the help of those 429hp under the hood, are far more responsive than fumbling for something in the hope I can find it in time, to make any real difference in most situations.
Winner! Can't speak for myself but some folks have v6 so they don't have an option of making a quick getaway lol.
No kidding bUT i believe it. How do you go about getting your genesis a carry permit? lmaoCarry right on my person. No need for in car storage (actually, its illegal in NYS unless it is in a locked case. The carry permit is for the person, not the car). Stupid, I know lol

I'm a wild Southerner (TX and NC) at heart, but I dig the advances like that. You're OK to not carry, should you so choose, but I prefer to have and not need...and use various overused phrases.
I keep my guns in the front seat - both, locked and loaded

Nice, very nice!!!!
Is it 80-400/ 70-200 and 300?
You know that D5 is coming out, right?![]()
<snip>- look like a great option for daylight shooting where you need a little extra reach and I'm a military aviation enthusiast where extra reach and fast AF is critical when things are blowing by at 700 mph!
Those pictures are epic! especially, that Hornet as it is breaking the sound barrier... The angle, the clarity, I can almost see inside that cockpit!
Beautiful shots, well done...
Yes. The new 80-400, 70-200 (that you have too) and the 300 f2.8 VR2. Currently have a D4s, D4 and D800E. AF on the new D5/D500 looks to be amazing, especially the fame coverage on D500. I'll be selling some of this current gear. I have a D500 on order - look like a great option for daylight shooting where you need a little extra reach and I'm a military aviation enthusiast where extra reach and fast AF is critical when things are blowing by at 700 mph!
