  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I like that the 2016 comes with AWD, is this always on or can it be turned off? I would like the option of when I need it on, otherwise, it being on all the time would seriously cut down the MPG. Thank for input.

Always on, although the amount of power distributed to each wheel may vary depending on driving conditions.

AWD is optional on USA versions of the 2015-16 Genesis, and standard on all Canadian versions.

Only available on the V6 model in the USA.

In "SPORT" mode, the car is essentially RWD unless the rear wheels start to slip.

Really like the AWD mode on my 2016 3.8. Handles extremely nice on curves etc etc.

no, this applies for ECO mode, for SPORT the percentage is 20/80 front/rear

Have you tried to measure MPG on the highway with ECO vs Standard Mode?
