Steering Wheel Wings

If anyone is looking to cover up the H on your steering wheel, I just did with this product off of Amazon. That H was driving me crazy so I ordered this with my wheel cap wings. Love it and it fits perfectly. Can't wait to get those wheel caps put on with my new tires arriving next week.

I have it on my 2013 Genesis. I also have wings on front and rear of car. I think the older wings look better than the newer ones.

You plan on upgrading to the KDM Wing Airbag down the road? I know it costs a decent amount more but hands down one of the best visual upgrades you can do. Ron_5.0 just switched over the the KDM airbag, comparison shot below. FWIW I got mine off the forum used for $175.

I feel you can install this yourself. Check out this link that has detailed pictures and instructions on how to remove and install the new one. Two T40 torx bolts to remove the bag and two clips plus a spade connection for the ground.

If you don't feel comfortable doing this some users mentioned that the dealer charged them around $40 to swap it out.

Thanks for the info and reply but I hate you now for showing me this KDM airbag alternative! God dam I hate these forums, there's always something else better, newer or just a must have.

It's never too late! stickers are cheap, get the real thing

There is more info in that thread. If you're interested in converting regular bulbs to LED bulbs, etc.

I've got the sticker...... I'm fine with it and saved over $250!! Can use that extra $$ for LEDs, etc.

My only concern about the sticker would be what happens to that sucker if the airbags deploy. I would hate to have that turn into a projectile.

I had the sticker and that was my first thought as I was installing it.
I finally chucked it when after sitting in the sun at work all day and on the ride home, it came off and stuck to my arm.
After thinking it was a huge bug and my mini freakout, I winged it out the window.
