  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Probably not the right forum for this but thought I ask anyways. Anyone here track/drag race their Genesis? I'm thinking about heading up to the local drag strip to put some numbers down this weekend and would like to see what others have.

What's your 0-60 time? Quarter mile time? What's your trap speed? Reaction time? Who were you up against? Etc.

I did take my 2009 Gen-1 car on the track for a few laps some years back. I was showing some out of town drivers the line around Mosport (former GP Track in Canada) and even with 4 people in the car, everybody (including me) was amazed how well it handled. Tried the Gen-2 HTRAC on another (smaller) track and even in Sport Mode with the ESC fully off I found it under-steered badly. Not exactly a fair comparison, but the additional weight of the AWD certainly doesn't help.

I have not yet but I' am to interested in seeing some numbers.

Hope I can get some numbers for you guys but this weekend will be in the 80s where I'm at. Probably not the best time to go...

We should be able to hit the quarter mile in the low 13's...speaking on the 5.0 Genny.
