In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

Just got my "new" 2015 Genesis 3.8. Level 3 package (the one with the HUD). Gray with light gray interior. They're practically giving them away here in Oklahoma. Sticker price $38,600, out the door I talked them down to $37k. Original price over $50k with all of the dealer crap. Only two left on the lot with this package.

Anyone know how to do text messaging in this car? I guess we don't get the Android software.

Hyundai practically are giving this car away sucks for early adopters this explain why I see them all over now. I paid $48.5k for an ultimate package. What they doing is not good for business in the long run. The value of the car is crap. I feel like a sucker lol never again

Thats why I leased. Will be interesting at lease end - I would buy it out but suspect the predetermined buyout residual will be above market by then. Hopefully, there can be some negotiating if the street value is way below the residual.

I just bought a new 2015 last week 5.0 with no down for $38.785. I shopped for almost a year and found a dealer that really wanted to sell the '15!

I just got into a 2016 3.8 RWD with Signature package. I don't have the exact sale price handy, but it was close to (maybe a little above) $36,500. As it relates to the 2015 ultimate's, I had a dealer begging me to take one at $12000 off. Those deals seem to be all over on those 5.0 2015 models. I wanted to lease, not buy, and I wanted the better gas mileage on the 3.8 as I do 70-80 miles a day, so I didn't bite (also didn't like the colors they had), but it is definitely one heck of a deal out there.

Do you know what special rebates they applied to your car. Please PM me the details when you have a chance. Congrats!!!

New 2015 Genesis V8 5.0, less than 100 miles, Empire State Gray, Ivory interior.

Bought new, $37,700, plus tax. Also was given 1.89% financing.

I'm leasing a 2016 AWD for $229/mo w/$0 down (36 mo, 36k mi). I actually just signed for it last week. Money factor was .00035, so basically negligible over the three years.

I watched Genesis prices for 2 years before diving in. I let a few good opportunities come and go but jumped in finally at $229 once I felt I wouldn't find anything better. Economically, for me it made a lot more sense to lease at this price than to purchase it.

I'm actually thinking of going in tomorrow to get the "excess wear and tear" insurance and upping it to 15k miles/yr -- the dealer is offering it for $274/mo which will put me at about $10k over the 3 years. Just deliberating whether the extra 9k miles over 3 years is worth $26/month.

Regardless of the outcome, I honestly never would have dreamed I would be able to afford a luxury car like this so quickly out of school. What a blessing. The car is such a dream (aside from the split second of lag time when accelerating). I just wonder how the dealer is making money off of this.

Congratulations on the phenomenal deal. I think if you needed the 15k miles / year, it's definitely worth $26/month. If you don't mind, could you provide what city/state your in so other members could hopefully get the same deal?

is that including tax ?

Perhaps he forget to mention a trade in? This one is hard to understand.

And how much down did you have to put? That dollar figure seems WAY low.

Hi all,

Edit: Figured out how to multi-quote. I am new to the forum so I am sorry if this comes out funky. I uploaded an older version of the contract to imgur here:

http://i.imgur.com/D1oyOUi.png

This was before the $400 student rebate was applied. So the total went from $242 to $229. Note this is in Salt Lake City and includes 6.85% tax.

Having never leased before, this contract confused me, but the numbers I cared about were the fact that I paid $0 down, had no trade in, a .00035 (0.84%) money factor, no first payment, and am making 35 payments of $229 (shows $242 in the imgur link - I haven't had the chance to upload the new contract). I think the money factor was pretty rock bottom because my credit is around 800. Not sure what it would have been otherwise. I churn credit cards so I knew I'd qualify for an excellent rate.

I think I'm going in tomorrow, however, to add Hyundai's "excess wear and tear insurance", and up it to 15k miles from 12k miles. Excess wear and tear comes out to $670 ($595 + tax/fees), and the additional 9k miles will cost $920 over three years. (If anyone can validate these numbers or provide advice I'd appreciate it. I'm still on the fence for both the wear and tear and the value of 9k miles over 3 years).

So rather than $229, my new total will be $274. Feels so much higher than the original amount, but I hope it'll be worth it. I kind of got suckered into the "excess wear and tear" but just don't want to be taken for a ride when I return the vehicle in 3 years.

Willing to answer any questions if anyone has any. I let a ton of deals slide over the last 2 years before I finally pulled the trigger on this one. Deal hunting is a hobby of mine, so I'm happy to share the wealth with anyone interested!
