TPMS light on during Cruise Control?

4.6 base model w/ 950 miles. TPMS light illuminates during use of cruise control. To be more specific the TPMS light, not the profile of the tire with the exclamation, nor anything on the LCD screen on the instrument cluster. Just the orange TPMS light comes on, but goes off when I stop the car, turn it off, then restart the car. This has occurred every time I have used the Cruise Control. Perplexing to say the least. (yes I checked the tire pressure on all 4 tires).

That light indicates a problem with the TPMS system and/or sensors. I would take it in and have the dealer check it.

When you say that when you stop the car, turn it off, then restart the car, it does it again when you use the cruise control. Did you turn car off, then turn it back on right away, or after a few minutes, or after a few hours, or even the next day?

The reason I ask is that sometimes (read: often) the car computer, as well as the DIS computer needs to reboot and the car needs to be off for a few minutes. It then reboots the next time you start car. Will not reboot if you shut car off, then restart right away.

If you have the problem even after the car has sat a few hours, (or minutes) or overnight, then I have no idea, and best to have your dealer take a look.

I would stop, park the car for a few hours, come back and the TPMS would not illuminate as normal. Then when I get back on the highway, turn on the cruise control, there's the light again. Why it only comes on when using the cruise control is strange, don't you think?
