Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

Congratulations.

Was this from Doug's Hyundai in Seattle by any chance?

I bought mine from them. 2016 Genesis 3.8 w/signature package ... 29 miles on the odometer for $40K. I considered a 2015, but I wanted the LED DRLs and as a rule, I never buy the first year of a brand new car or major redesign.

Yes yes and yes
The car was originally leased at Dougs for a 6 month personal lease to what looks like a Boeing executive as the phone pre loaded phone numbers in the car were all loaded phone numbers of all the department heads at Boeing.

Yes that Hyundai of America customer service (Genisis/Equis owners only, told me how to get it Certified Pre Owned.
I purchased vehicle from Northwest Motorsports in Puallop Washington and car fax documented all the above.

Love Love the car as I was a previous Mercedes S class owner.
I can honestly say the the customer service I have received fro Hyundai Of America and the Bend Oregon dealership have been a "10" on every interaction with them both.

If this car lasts and the customer service continues I will be a Genesis owner for life!!!!

Yes
Bend Oregon Dealer service manager said it usally cost $200 but to welcome me to the Hyundai family he charged me $98.00.

I have all the CPO paperwork and the email from Hyundai of America
Pretty Cool!!.

Good work. I bought my 2015 Genesis 5.0 new (but with 600 miles on it) in May, 2015 at Doug's also, and drove it down to San Jose. Made the deal over the phone, took a flt, and got the car. Went smoothly

If it looks, smells and drives new (and it should), then by all means pull the plug! Have them throw in the warranty as suggested and/or the V10 latest and greatest map version for the Nav, and buy it!! Think about it....where can you buy a new (almost) car with a V8 and all the goodies that come on the Ultimate? There selling loaded Tuscons for just a few grand less. HUD is freaking the bomb!! Buy the car!!

I am the proud new owner of 2015 5.0!

Bad news first...it is not an ultimate package, so no HUD:mad:

Great news is I got them down to $37,500 and they gave me $8000 on my 2008 base Tundra with 171,000 miles on it! The car is so nice, I couldn't pass it up.

I'll look to add the extended warranty soon.

This forum helped me get what I think is a GREAT deal! Thanks!

It's amazing the $$ dealers will give for older high mileage Toyotas. Had a similar experience several years ago with KIA. Obviously they wanted to sell you your new ride. Congrats! I never thought the nicest car I'd ever own is a Hyundai. Look for my recent post under Extended Warrantys for a lady out of Massachusetts selling genuine Hyundai warranties for great prices. If your car was sold as used, see if you can have your dealer certify it for cheap.

Same here! I just took my wife to dinner tonight and told her this is the best car I've ever driven! (And that's saying a lot because I used to park cars for a living at a high priced hotel) The car was sold to me as new. I am titled as first owner. All warranties are in place. I will contact local dealer for extended warranty and then compare prices I have seen here. If my local dealer is out of line on pricing I'll look into the young lady in Massachusetts (again .....a very helpful forum!!) Thanks.

For those in the market for a 2016 Ultimate (3.8), Eckert Hyundai here in the DFW area just took in 3 Ultimates w/ 500-1500 miles that were used during the Super Bowl. All 3 are CPO and priced <$40k. They weren't ever titled to the retail public.

About the best deal I'm seeing out here for a 2016.

After selling my 2015 3.8 Sig Pkg for a $6k profit back in April, I just picked up a 2015 5.0 Ultimate in Casablanca White w/ 25k miles for $35k. I love the extra tech goodies and the extra horsepower!

I wonder what the cars have been doing for 6 months since the game?

What's mind blowing is these cars are less than a new Santa Fe, Azera and cost several thousand more than a loaded Camry. These cars are bargains! And I still rarely see a Genesis.

Got my 2016 Superbowl 3.8 Ibiza Blue Ultimate from a dealer in Atlanta with 600 Miles on it in April. $38,635. He had a dozen of them he bought at an auction. From 200 to 1200 miles on them. They actually say Superbowl on the Window Sticker.

But it was titled right? Cause if it wasn't and you still got 0 percent financing that would be even crazier deal than what you already got

This is rapidly changing. I had the same perception. Nowadays I see Genesis cars quite frequently.

It had been titled before for insurance purposes. I bought it as a CPO car.

Not in my neck of the woods. Still quite infrequent really. That’s one of the things I like best. Always have. Most people still don't know what it is.

i too rarley see any genesis sedans in central NJ. i will see a dozen S classes a day but maybe 1 genny a month

I have to agree that there are more Mercedes S series and E series on the streets. Lots more.

But here in Weston (South Florida) the number of Genesis' increased a lot since the end of last year.

MB sells more Es+Ss and has the base sold during several years in the streets.

I have to admit that the power of the premium brands is a reality. Thus the effort of Hyundai in creating its own premium brand.

Was this the list price or had some wiggle room on the price?
I am also looking into a 2016 3.8L Ultimate package. None is available here in the west cost at this point.

Jim Ellis in Atlanta has 4 of them still at $42K asking.

So, i'll start off saying i love my genny and have about 2500 miles total on the car, a 2016 ultimate rwd, but as big as it is, and an i tested the car seats, its not great as a family car with 2 kids under 2. i got a great deal on it, sell price was 41,500 for a lease 3yr/12k. should i just "deal" with the car, again, i love it and when alone about 70% of the time i see no better option, or is there an alternative that doesnt get me raped. swapa lease? forums like this? i know there is almost no more stock of 2016 ultimates and g80s are buyers only option.

thoughts? my wife has a crv but seems like 2 suvs or.......heaven forbid... a mini van and suv might serve us better

I am actually considering the Genesis for a similar situation (1.5 yr old, 1 more on the way) because my current ride, a nissan frontier crew cab pickup, simply can't handle a carseat behind the passenger without moving it forward. I stuck with it for kid #1 but I don't want to do that again. My wife's Sonata works pretty good though.

Is it lack of space/trunk room? I am really really curious what your experience has been as my other option is a k900/equus for more room.
