  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

my genesis hit my Z06

I dont know what to say. But I'm so glad both of you are okay because that the most important part. Cars we can always replace, people you can never.

There will always be haters. But hopefully with being featured on two big name sites that it might generate more people on the forum at least

And I do see some nasty, uncalled for comments.. What can ya do....?

yeah i don't get it. you would think that most people that surf those 2 sites are car guys. it is sad really. the genesis is a hell of a car at a hell of a price.

i will agree though that i would have been a much nicer day for me if the genesis did have radar in the front end that automatically slowed it down when it determined that this was going to happen;)

i don't hate any car. there are some that i would never buy, but i don't hate them or their drivers.

heck i saw a vintage purple vw bug yesterday, and thought to myself, that is one cool car.

genesis is back in my garage, you would never know it was hit, well i will but no one else would be able to tell. ok that isn't true, a sharp eye would pick up on the PPG windshield i now have.

the vette....good god, i won't get that thing back for another 2 weeks. only saving grace is that we have only seen the sun for 7 days during the month of june, and july isn't starting out much better:eek:

I'm a car guy myself. I like ALL automobiles. I can find something that I like about every single one of them. There are plenty I'd never buy for myself, however. And I'd never criticize someone for their choice of automobile. Young people aren't as intelligent as they used to be. It seems to take MUCH longer for people to mature these days. Especially the guys - who are flooded with so much estrogen that they can't help but bitch about the silliest things...

It's the internet. I've seen people who are probably well-respected who act like they're at Mardi Gras when they're posting. The anonymity and lack of consequences lead them to write things that they wouldn't have the guts to say to someone's face lest they be punched or laughed at.

There ya go! :)

Exactly!!

Most people who post on the net (as in society in general) aren't exactly logical or bright.

Wow...

morale of story is don't let wife follow you, and for god's sakes don't run the front of one of these things into anything....:D

I could not agree more with the morale of this story. My wife who was following me hit my Acura TL last year. Since then we either go together in the same car or I make sure that she does not follow me.
