Hi guys!
New to the forum but have been following for a few weeks. Got a question for you all. First off, cash is an issue. I am not in the boat where I can go out and buy whatever I want, when I want. Still paying off that masters degree, so the next few years are looking for "most bang for my buck" type deals.
With that being said, it is time to upgrade my vehicle. Coming from a glorified Camry (Lexus ES 350) I have found that I LOVE the Genesis and want it to be my next vehicle. My reasoning for it was that I found a great deal on a '15, that I am not sure that I want to pass up. The problem? High miles. It has 89k on it. Red flags everywhere, and did a little digging on it. Apparently it was used for 2 years in NYC as an Uber car. Financially it could end up being a significant savings in price opposed to leasing a '17 g80, if the maintenance doesn't kill me on the way out.
Still looks great, runs great, interior and exterior are near flawless etc. Ultimate package, about 10k left on ptrain warranty, etc. History of logged maintenance shows service every 10 to 12 k miles...but again...Ride Share survivor.
I don't have an issue of turning a hoe into a housewife, as long as it will make a good housewife so to speak, but I am having trouble finding anyone sounding off about these vehicles once the 100k warranty wears out. Any input from the fan's here?
Thanks in advance!
