  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Are you seeing more and more Genesis sedans lately?

I live near Dallas, so I see quite a few of them. So far, since march of this year, I've seen a total of 15 Genesis sedans. I've also seen a total of 2 Genesis coupes.

I also live in Dallas and I have never seen a Genesis outside of the Dealership. Hopefully that changes soon.

I may be the Silver Genesis as I live on the eastside of Fort Lauderdale living near the beach and working off of 17th Street causeway.

I see about 3-4 a week and yesterday was the first time a saw a black beauty go down A1A on my weekend walk at 7am in the morning. I've also seen 2 coupes in the last month

Daniel, I think the silver one I have seen is a different one than yours. Your profile says you are 48 years old. The driver of the one I saw was closer to my age (probably older). The restaurant is Georgie's Alibi, a gay bar and restaurant (actually in Wilton Manors).

P.S Mine was not the one you saw at 7AM. I am rarely out of the house before 10AM except to walk the dogs.

I live in Dutchess County NY about 75 miles north of NYC and I have yet to see another one on the road....kind of strange actually.

Los Angeles, CA. They aren't as ubiquitous as say 3 series, honda accord or toyota camry. But I have seen many of them. I definitely have had some people stare at the car trying to figure out what it was. (Especially since I rebadged the trunk). Every time someone gets in the car the response is the same. This is a HYUNDAI? I had no idea they were so nice.

I was driving home today. Saw a silver one than a white one in less than 10 mins. Thewhite one was in a funeral procession though.

I have seen only 2 other Genesis sedans here in the Boston Metrowest area - between Rhode Island and Boston city center. One silver 3.8 and one white one - the silver one I saw in my neighborhood (Foxboro) about 2 weeks ago and I've not seen it since. The white one was in the Raynham area. I LOVE the exclusivity, and am selfishly pleased they are not more common around here - YET.

Yesterday I was at Logan International Airport picking up my spouse, and went to a little side lot where a lot of the livery drivers congregate - there's a store and gas station there. Man, the way they all flocked around, ogling it and exclaiming how fine it was - I was on cloud 9, and didn't mind telling them I traded my '04 545i and am quite happy with the switch.

Oh, I received in the mail last week the very cool chrome license frame from Hyundai, and today have received something else that looks "special". I am very much enjoying my Genesis! Along the lines of the excellent descriptor of "liquid" for the power, I liken it to going into warp drive when you jump on it - that nanosecond of still, then the collected surge of power and the chaser ion trail ... I am quite happy besting Bimmers daily on 495!

I live in Houston. Other than the dealer lots, I have seen only three since I bought mine last September. In a city with 2.3 million people and five Hyundai dealers there must be more somewhere.

I'm in Boca Raton, (between West Palm and Ft. Lauderdale), I've seen a few more, but still seem scarce compared to BMW's, etc. I was hoping to not see that many until I purchased so I could try and get a good deal. I'm starting in the pricing and negotiating phase, but no one wants to work with me. :)

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I've had my 4.6 for 5 months now in Austin, Tx and haven't seen any other. There have to be some around, but I really haven't been looking.

In that neck of the woods, I'd be shocked if any car outnumbered BMW, especially the Genesis :)

Same here in LA dataguy. Bimmers especially the 3 series dominate the landscape. Trendy, European, rear wheel drive. I can't get over where they put those cupholders. Shameful.

I drove about 400 miles from Central Florida to Atlanta, I did not see one Genesis the whole trip. I was a little disappointed but only time will tell.

I've seen 2 others in my 3 months of ownership. At the dealer yesterday for an oil change (free, nice touch), and as I recall the salesman said they had sold about a dozen, and 13 of those were black! (mine's Saphire Blue, and I waited 4 weeks for it).

Up in the Great White North sitings are rare...only a white one so far.

Mine is Lime Rock Green, I doubt (hope) I don't see a twin sibling anytime soon!

I've had mine just short of a year now, and while I didn't see very many at all for the first several months, I now have seen many different ones on a fairly regular basis--not only in my town, but in the adjacent towns/counties as well. It's nice to see such a classy ride from a distance!
