- No Genesis Yet!
I'm actually looking to buy a 1st generation genesis sedan. I'm looking at years of around 2012. I saw some champagne colored 2012 3.8's with around 60k miles on them for around 10 grand. They still look very attractive to me!
I'm getting this car as a 2nd car, or to possibly replace my current car. My current car is a 2013 Infiniti G37S Coupe. It is a 6 speed manual and guzzles gas like no other car I've had. 60 dollar fill up and usually doesn't last a week.
I want a car I can use as a daily driver. But I don't want a crap car. Genesis seems like the perfect car for me because it is cheap but quality.
Now, is the 1st generation Genesis reliable? Any models to avoid? Specifically, is 3.8 reliable and strong enough? Any years to avoid? Is 2012 a good year for Genesis? And lastly, as an owner, recommend or pass?? So many questions... I know. Sorry!
I am going to go out tomorrow and check out some cars. I hope this is a good car so I can stop my shopping and settle on this!
