2015, 5.0 CPO, 30k miles (as of yesterday).
Currently waiting for a flatbed at my place.
Drove about 50 miles today, stopped to get gas about 8 miles from home, made the drive, backed into my parking space and put the vehicle in park. Engine started idling rough. And I mean rough...like a top fuel dragster rough. The CEL came on. I gave it a little extra RPM to see if it would smooth out (I'm an old schooler who has owned quite a few carburator vehicles in the past). CEL light went off and then I noticed the smell. It wasn't anything I recognized, very chemical in nature, almost like what a car smells like that has been running in a closed garage. I got out while it was running and there was white smoke coming from the driver's side exhaust. I shut it down and waited a minute. Tried to start it and it just cranks and won't catch.
No, I didn't put diesel in it - 87 pump octane from Speedway. Never had a problem with that before. I also drive pretty normal, no racing or anything.
Extra: I hooked an OBD scanner up to it for fun about 6 weeks ago and got U0109 as a stored code "lost communication with fuel pump module A". Asked the local dealer about it, they said it was probably nothing.
Any ideas?
