  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

US dealers who actually have the G70 available for sale.

Anyone heard anything on any western US states yet? Allocations? In transit? I'm in Colorado and all three dealers I called are not sure when they will be available here, Genesis not licensed yet. A road trip might be fun!

Genesis of Cherry Hill (in Marlton NJ) isn't too far so I may take a drive over there just to check them out. All the other local dealers are vague on inventory of any Genesis, with no G70s. I hope this isn't the only dealer servicing my area.

I'm in Portland Oregon, and I've only checked one dealership so far, and they may not even continue to sell Genesis next year. However, I just shot a few emails to other dealerships close by, along with other dealers in Salt Lake City, Utah, and a couple in Nevada (Reno and Las Vegas).

I'll post an update if they respond with anything useful.

Fellow Coloradoan here. Who were the dealers you talked to? According to the Genesis website, as of now there will only be two dealers carrying the 2019 Genesis vehicle, McDonald and Arapahoe.

I'm in Utah. I have a feeling that with the way freight gets delivered we will probably see something out here in a few months. One of the dealers out here in SLC said 3 months.

When I talked to a dealer in Denver they said they weren't sure but don't expect any before the beginning of next year. Hopefully our dealers and us are surprised. ;). I haven't heard that Colorado and Utah has finalized the franchising/licensing so that can be holding things up also.

Yea my lease is up at the end of November. So I feel ya there, man!

Why would the east coast get cars and not the west? Ports are all over.

Right?? None of this is making any sense.

I talked to my local dealer in Kearny Mesa, they said December, not sure if beginning or end or what not, but December in general. Which sucks, I'm about to sell my car pretty soon, and I'll have to share my wifes car.

Did they indicate if the state has approved Genesis to sell in California?

Asked the sales guy and he didn't really know, but said that's pretty much the main reason they are not on the market here yet

Where is this Magic Internet Link that tells prospective Genesis customers where to find these elusive, hidden, covert, dealers? Inquiring minds want to know. Folks just can’t wait to drive hundreds of miles to buy a new Genesis.

I spoke to Arapahoe and McDonald, I am also talking with Shortline. They were just purchased by Schomp and they are saying they are going to be a Genesis dealer.

Jim Ellis Hyundai in Atlanta and Burns Buick GMC Hyundai in Marlton have some on cars.com now. No pics
