I saw a G70 (with coming soon to USA at the bottom). And a G80 commercial spot. Each about 30 seconds.
There was also the “half time show” which was a 2ish minute rap video by Lil Wayne where it started off with him exiting a G70. Then sitting and laying on the hood while grabbing his crotch 4000 times. With al the cursing which was silenced out it sounded like a record that was skipping, with Lil Crotch grabber spending most of the video grabbing or holding himself and pulling up his pants.
I have to say that imagery is something Genesis should really stay away from if they want to build a prestigious brand. I Don’t know many folks that would see this behavior as a positive brand endorsement, the comments I got from some buddies who have questioned my decision to by the G80 was it reminded them of the mid 2000s Chrysler associations with rappers and how the Chrysler brand became associated with drug dealers and gangsters.
