  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 Lease Comparisons and Discussion (USA)

Does owning 2 Hyundais count?

As far as we know now, they are not offering any loyalty discount for owning a Genesis or Hyundai. The only incentive Genesis has is a $1k discount for owning a competing car.

$400 military? Hyundai/Kia offer that.

I assume they will continue the special offers listed on there web site. They list $500 for military., $1,000 towards mobility equip and $400 college graduate.Screen Shot 2018-10-18 at 9.07.09 PM.webp

I love your extra large quotes...LOL

Talk about in your face...oh I joke...I joke.

You better be or else I will see that the truck from Philly to VA is diverted. I grew up there and still have many friends there to do favors. ;)

You guys probably want to see this thread on leasehackr:

2019 Genesis G70 3.3t $719/mo $1k down
Got to the 2nd line...and it is already incorrect. The Design is cheaper. $51,500 is the 3.3T Sport AWD.

Sheesh.

Guys...please ignore the above...it is partially incorrect. Nothing against dengen of course.

Here are the official numbers for October on the 3.3T Sport AWD...

10k miles
36 months: 0.00018 MF and 56% residual
39 months: 0.00048 MF and 54% residual
42 months: 0.00073 MF and 52% residual

So for 36 months...numbers are actually amazing. The APR turns out to be 0.432%

If you want 100% accurate numbers...go to the following site. If you do not see a request for a given month...create a post in the format that others do and you will get official MF and RV (and any incentives) within a short period of time.

Yes, the guy that posted that has a lot of incorrect information on the post. Using the numbers he posted the monthly payment would be about $636 a month before taxes. I would just ignore that.

Will have to disagree with my friend here. lol He does seem to have the price correct, attached is the window sticker for the car and the MSRP is $51,805.

The MSRP on the Design is $50,750. That is pre destination and minus the dealer addons.

The $51,500 that he posted is the MSRP (pre destination) on the 3.3T Sport AWD. So he did indeed get it wrong.

Actually most people and lease calculators include the destination in the MSRP but I will give you that he is $305 short doing that compared to the window sticker.

If he truly meant a Design edition...it is $750 less than a Sport.

Genesis Newsroom

I guess you should take that up with the dealer and Genesis not me. The window sticker I showed you is for a 3.3t Design AWD from New Jersey and the price is $51,805 which is actually more than he had posted, We wasted enough time on this. LOL

I tried to negotiate today for a 3.3T prestige with a sticker of 51,1xx today in NJ after a test drive. They initially offered low 700s with zero down for 36/12 which I laughed off, and after some back and forth they wouldn't cross 640/month without at least 1800 down payment. I wanted to get them to 640/mo with just 1st mo down which is aggressive but is nearing end of month with the car having sat for 6 weeks. No dice so I walked, especially since their final offer wasn't even guaranteed. They kept saying something about Genesis being a new brand, lack of inventory and having to pay more now because it's no longer a Hyundai, which is ironic since everything was done in a rundown Kia/hyundai dealership with no Genesis-specific personnel.

I am becoming less optimistic that I will lease in December, perhaps when the 2020 models hit next year I might get a much better deal then.

So the $1,000 is an incentive based on trim. The other $1,000 is Conquest if you own another premium/luxury brand. In Canada, if you own a Hyundai, you get 1% off the finance rate which drops you to 0.9%.

I've never leased....what can I expect to pay on 42k model?
