You can still ask Siri to read your messages aloud without CarPlay, it's just not as seamless.

I didn't realize that...I'm a late adopter to the whole voice thing. Siri tends to have no clue what I'm trying to say. I'll have to hone my siri skillz

If you have an iPhone you can send and have texts read to you with Siri Eyesfree. Just hold down the steering wheel button long enough to hear Siri beep that it’s ready to take commands. Connect your phone with Bluetooth.

10! I love good stereo. There's a sub-woofer under the driver's seat too. Haven't checked the passenger seat yet.

That’s good to hear. I’ve honestly heard bad reviews of the Lexicon Speakers in other brands and was hoping it would sound better in the G70.

I don't have much to compare them to, so to me they sound great and they are loud enough too.

VA to NV is quite the road trip. Anyone tried talking to dealers about transfer yet? With so few approved dealers, I think the chances of finding one that would be supportive would be slim to none.

These G70 forums are slowly becoming less intersting. I hope Genesis listens to these forums and
responds with action. I would like to see the digital dash in the sport version very soon along with some
updates that have been previously been mentioned in these forums.

My dealer here in Henderson made it sound like it would be no problem to do a transfer from somewhere else to them...I imagine they would do the same the other way for you

Update on my Xtended Warranty!

I will spare you the details up front...The GM granted my request to get the warranty for $1500 due to the confusion and bad experience w/ the loan shark. It took a bit of back and forth, but in the end he did the right thing. We had the option up front (before I raised the issue to the GM) to cancel it or get a $250 coupon...puhleeze don’t insult me like that! I still wanted the warranty so when I spoke with the GM, I told him $1500 would make me happy. At first he balked, then he said he’d see what the actual cost of it was and maybe try to work with me...when he called back later after thinking it through, he decided to let us have it for $1500. He was very nice and apologetic. I don’t have to flame them up on social media now

Persistance pays off and I’m glad I brought the issue up. Tempting to just let it b, but hey never know till u try

I thought I’d be missing out on a fully digital cluster, but I’m not missing it. Albeit, I have never had one. I have grown to like the set dials.

True, but odds are it will be on the sport. If not, no harm in waiting a year. That's what I'm doing. Their competition is going digital. They would do well to do the same in such a big market as the US.
