  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 Advertisements

Taking both the good and bad can have nasty repercussions though depending on how bad it is. Image means a lot and the image of many rappers is not so good. Of course, it is not easy today to find a celebrity that has not been arrested for drugs.
Very true. It seems that most of them do drugs, unfortunately. I would think with Lil Wayne, the drugs would be the least of the problems considering the gun charges and such that he's had.

his music doesn't bother me, not my flavor but I am tolerant of any genre of music having grown up in a house of musicians and marrying into a family of musicians, my wife's cousin and her uncle are the Latin Band Tierra (Tierra). I'm a old white dude, the music doesn't bother me.

my issue is strictly with his behavior and cursing in this representation of Genesis. What is the point of having a video advertising the brand and the model when the song is so full of cursing it gets silenced out and sounds like a skipping record from the 1970s, if they had bleeped it out, it would have sounded like a semi truck backing up.
Yeah now that made no sense lol. Should have picked a song with an actual clean version where there were substituted words rather than cut outs if they wanted to use him to do a halftime show.

I personally feel like the advertisements should showcase more of the car, but I guess that's just not the direction they want to go in.

Decent ad. It does emphasize the car, which is nice to see. The exhaust tone sounds more like what I've heard from the enhanced interior sound than the natural exterior sound, but for an ad, that may not be such a bad choice.

Now I just need California to offer those nice white-on-white license plates and the car will look perfect. A bad license plate can really mess up the look of a nice car...

California also needs to lose the "front plate required" law so that the beautiful 6-point grille will be unobstructed! Personally, I'm gonna take the chance and not mess up my G70 with a front plate.

I'm not taking any chance for a ticket. I'm moving to a state that only requires one plate.

I think the ticket would be less stressful and less expensive! ;)
No front plate in California no problem, been driving without front plates for a while. You MAY get a ticket for not having one if you get pulled over for something else

I've gotten a fix-it ticket for no front plate while being parked in a lot. I guess the meter maid had a slow day, so I got tagged. No problem, just put the plate on temporarily and find an officer to sign off the fix. Done!

Hoping no holes are required to drill and mount the front plate ruining the plateless look, that would suck!

I've seen the G70 mounted with plates on front, and they all seem to have brackets that hold it into the front grille.

So does that mean the brackets can be removed with no visible holes or mount points that would not be present if the plate was never installed?

Yes, a lot of cars are made with brackets like that so that you would not have to drill the bumper, they are like hooks and are held at the grille from behind

Looks like a 2nd commercial for the USA. Emphasis on saving time since they come get your car for service, etc.

That's actually a pretty good one.
