After my typical research, test drives, forum reading, I pulled the trigger on a G70 3.3T RWD Prestige Himalayan Gray / Gray Interior. Finding one in the evolving dealer network and supply chain remains a challenge, so when I found one at Safford Genesis in Springfield Virginia, I bought it. One tip, don't trust the dealer / Genesis.com descriptions of the cars in inventory. Check the window stickers online to be sure. You may find, as I did, a car with the specs you want.
A couple initial thoughts:
1. I thought I wanted an AWD, but after driving the RWD with LSD, I found I preferred the feel of the RWD. I'll order a winter tire package from Tire Rack for the cold months. I have my Jeep SRT if anything serious comes along (I run Pirelli Scorpion winter performance tires November to March on the Jeep).
2. I thought I wanted the Sport package. After driving the Sport / Prestige back-to-back, I felt the Prestige is a better option for Washington DC metro area roads.
3. I looked at the Stinger as well, did their track experience earlier this year, and was sold on the 3.3T drivetrain. Liked both cars, the G70 was a better fit.
