I'm writing to offer my assistance to anyone with questions with their current Genesis models dating
back to their 2009 model year on up to us being one of the first Genesis dealers awarded their dealer code and
franchise here in Illinois, which will now allow us to sell the 2019 models including the all new G70
which is absolutely awesome. There are many great articles out there but to really do the vehicle justice
and understand exactly what this vehicle has to offer, you need to see it up close and drive both the
2.0L Turbo as well as the 3.3L Twin Turbo AWD which we have in stock ( 4 available currently). Please

This is a G70 automobile forum. They happen to sell them. Why would he not introduce himself and make himself available?

You want him to pay a fee so that us members can pick his brain on the car, etc, etc.

He's a typical salesman looking to make money. Nothing wrong with that, but pay your way in. Do you want every salesman from every dealer to hawk his wares here? You'd get sick of it quick. He can join in discussions, but he is here to sell.

Based on the lack of G70 in my driveway, no. I asked for $1200 off MSRP ($1000 off like you got Beefer + $200 for the stupid add-ons like the first aid kit, who the hell pays $45 for a first aid kit??!!) but got denied. Pugi offered $1000 off MSRP, even for the 3.3T. My salesman straight up said no and that Pugi was only offering the $1000 off the 2.0T.

At Rosen, I spoke with Mike Becker when the cars first arrived on the lot, although Jared Shaw is the salesman who I've been working with. I regret not going after the White 3.3T Sport a little more aggressively. I mistakenly didn't offer to pay for fees and taxes up front, which should have reduced the monthly payment. With $4000 off MSRP ($2500 lease cash back, $1000 loyalty, $500 military) and nothing down, Jared said a 3 yr/30k mi lease would be $721/mo. I walked.

I've been playing on the internet and Newsgroups for years. Most of us can see through this stuff by various sales people. They are just like your long lost cousin that wants to get together with you after he started selling insurance.

have to agree with Ed on this, vendors are required to pay vendor fees on all auto forums before attempting to sell anything, I suspect the owner of this site will feel the same way.

I see this as nothing more than a spam post by a salesman. One whom hasn't even bothered to come back and respond to the questions asked.

Yes, and the guy from up north actually participate here. Nothing wrong with that and it is welcomed. BTW, where is that guy that was here before? Never heard from him again.

If he was a real participant, I'd expect he'd jump in, take part in a discussion, maybe at some point add "Oh, I'm a Genesis salesman if I can ever be of help"

I could be wrong, but so far, my scorecard on people like that is pretty good. We'll see.

There will be something like 400 Genesis dealers when all done. Let's say each has only two sales people so a total of 800 Genesis salespeople . If we let one post his contact information the other 799 will be here too.

To answer your question, yes, I'm tarring them all with the same brush. I've participated in USENET and other forums for over 20 years and I've seen sneaky advertising like this before and the mess it can cause. If he truly wants to participate, fine, but his intro is pure sales. I've seen pros that do contribute and join in and use a simple tag line so others can know they have something to sell.

There are ways to help, but there are also opportunists.
Anyone need Tupperware? Amway? Avon? I can answer your questions.

Sorry for the delay. We were pounded with over a foot of snow from Sunday night to Monday morning, having to clean over 300 cars so we look like we are open for business. Currently, there are only 3 Genesis dealers here in Illinois and Genesis is being selective with adding additional dealers, making sure that moving forward, their customers are treated at a higher standard than what’s happened with most Hyundai dealers in the past, involving so many pricing games, inviting bad online reviews after the fact.

We received the largest delivery so far of G70 stock out of the 3 dealers with 2 already sold. We are currently selling them at MSRP but the other two are adding dealer installed accessories working to get over MSRP for them. Hyundai is also participating with owner loyalty or a competitive owner incentive of $1000 with a qualifying vehicle. You are welcome to call me directly with additional questions at 847.561.3669. I’m sure that in the past there have been many standard salesman here strictly to solicit but whether this leads to a purchase or I simply help with questions for others out of state, I’m simply offering my experience. I’ve been with Rosen for 11 years but 21 years in the automotive sales industry.

With so little knowledge out there for Genesis due to its recent inception, I figured that any additional help would be welcome. I’m sorry you feel the way you do but you are definitely off base with your direction towards me. I guess time will tell.
