Hey everyone, I am currently in the market for a CPO 15-16 Genesis and had couple question in regards to a specific listing I saw. A dealer has a 2015 CPO Genesis from New York near Brooklyn with only 25,000 miles on it but had its brake pads and brake replaced twice in a span of 6000 miles according to car fax. It states front brake pads replaced as well as resurfaced brake rotors for both report.
Are brake pads supposed to be replaced at 20,000ish interval or longer? Do you think rear brakes were also affected as bad as the front ones? Do you think it is a car that I should stay away from since its from New York (city driving) or go and take a look at it.
Additionally, the dealership also has a 2016 CPO Genesis with 37,000 miles from Texas which only had its brake calipers serviced and cleaned after lease turn in. Should I go for the 16 with higher miles or 15 with lower miles but had its brake pads replaced twice.?
Thanks everyone, hope to join the Genesis Team soon.
