  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 Lease Comparisons and Discussion (USA)

It may be too hard to read. Sorry, the copy I got is light. This is deal I did. My trade-in was $4k upside down. Any of you lease guru's wanna tell me if I got a good deal? MSRP was $52370.

At this point rather than looking at the numbers I would ask if you are happy with the car and have any trouble making the payments. If your answers are "love it" and "no trouble at all" then I would say you got a good deal.

Congratulations, good luck, enjoy and be safe!

I absolutely can and do love it! But some insight to my lease details can help me make a better deal in the future if I didn't do something right this time. Never hurts to save more for mods.

The main things to make sure of when leasing is that the dealer is using the correct MF, RV and giving any lease cash that is available. Many dealers will try and markup the MF so best to verify the numbers they are using. Other than that, you will want to make sure you get the lowest price you can for the vehicle.

Just leased a 3.3t g70 sport trim rwd in Himalayan gray and turned in my 2016 genesis.
Msrp was ~50800, haggled down to ~43700, put down 3k with 500/month for 36 months with 12k miles per year. This is all in with taxes etc
I think I got a good deal, Florida doesn't regulate dealer fees so they usually charge $800-1000.
I did reach out to 8 dealers in Florida and noone came close to this price. Next best was $577/month.

that’s a very good lease deal - I would have jumped at that. did you get 10K or 12K miles a year? the pic attached indicated 10K. just curious.

They actually took my first offer, so I made them throw in free window tint. But to be fair they had been courting me for 2 months since I test drove in February and I leased my 2016 genesis from them. I also get the veterans incentive ($400)

Very nice deal. I might actually lease instead of buy if I could get those numbers.

It finally happened!

G70 Design RWD

MSRP: 49,940
Final Price: 44, 898 (Circle A + 1k lease cash)
Residual: 54%
MF: .00054 (~1.3% APR)
0 additional money down.

Total monthly price: $609

Perhaps not the best deal ever, but I'm pretty happy with it overall.
And as much shit as I've given Genesis here, it was definitely worth the wait, this car is awesome.

The biggest downside I can find is having to call my doctor if I take a road trip longer than 4 hours :D

Well done

3.3T Sport RWD
$50,650 MSRP
$7,000 in discounts/rebates
54% RV
.00042 MF
Free shipping from Florida to Texas
$10k at signing, $419 a month
($3,100+ worth of TX sales tax and lots of FL dealer fees...)

I wanted a low monthly hence the higher cash down. I know it's all the same in the end, just how I wanted to do it. This was a way better deal than I could get locally. I could get $1500-2500 off at 2 other dealers I tried. $7,000 off with free shipping sealed the deal (I was out in FL on vacation). Texas sucks with sales tax on full value of the car even for a lease, but whatever, I'm loving the car.
