  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis G70 Limited Edition (Wish List)

I didn't realize the G70 AWD system sends 100% of the power to the rear tires in sport mode. I could have sworn it was limited to 80%. Though the Stinger GTS does also hold gears when put into drift mode. I believe in order to achieve the same in G70 you need to turn off the Traction and Stability controls. I could be mistaken though.

The new Stinger is just upgrading to the same level as the G70, in terms of software and hardware.

The G70 has a drift mode. Press and hold TC until completely disabled. The car will hold revs and even let you hit the revlimiter without changing gears. It will send approx 97% of power to the rear. The new Stinger will actually do the same. I believe it was a communication error in where *some* car reviewers are saying it's 100% of power to the rear on the Stinger. Lastly, the AWD G70 already has a very aggressive rear multi-plate style LSD in the rear.

All of that said, the new Stinger is just playing catch up, in terms of the AWD system.

I'll definitely keep this in mind when I purchase my G70. After the engine break in period of course.

Haha, I certainly wouldn't hold it against you if you fudged the break in rules a little bit. ;)

I agree with you that the Mazda Soul Red is beautiful and the "best" red in the market but Havana Red is not far from it. I've compared both in front each other and giving the Mazda red a 10/10 I would give 9/10 to the HR (way more than other reds out there)

I’ll have to check it out in person then. I’ve only seen HR indoors at the car show.

I can tell you from the look on peoples faces when they see the car in sunlight it can be mesmerizing. The stare value is there.

Here's the Brochure for the two Editions:
