  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Could just be the perception of Hyundai versus Genesis and the dealer is trying to capitalize on it. Brown was not a popular color and that may be a factor.

Brown is one of the biggest losers for resale. A friend who appraises collector cars once told me dealers call it “hang around brown”. Slow sellers alway yield a lower resale price. Good if you happen to like the color and are buying used.

The 1st 5.0 that I looked at was brown with tan interior - not bad looking, just wasn't my thing... It was kinda funny how the guy kept calling me back every week with a price drop though. I wanted Ibiza Blue but I got tired of looking for one & settled for Empire State Gray.

I just traded my White over Tan for the Ibiza Blue over Ivory, but had I not got lucky my close second was the Empire State Gray. Both have a deep metallic look which is rather an eye-catcher when the light hits just right. Good choices. (y)

Yeah - ESG kinda goes a bit light/dark bluish under certain conditions. Pretty cool.

Ha! My Dad's last brown car was a 74 Capri... He had a few other brown cars before that.
