Nah, military acquisition logistics office... lol a bunch of military and civilian gearhead engineers, project managers, equipment specialists, and logisticians.

In addition to those cars and my G70, a few jeeps, and a ton of RAM 1500s and 2500s. Couple of us had RAMs, then within 2 years, they multiplied and now there are at least 8. Lol

There was an article about car color in an auto magazine (Automobile, I think) that dealers want to sell cars from inventory, not dealer transfers or special orders. They order the least offensive colors nearly exclusively because if all other equipment is available then the buyer will accept white, black, gray, silver but not yellow, red, green. The dealers push these cars then use specialty vehicles such as Corvette or Jeep to display "show-off" colors on their lot while maintaining the most common colors for Toyotas, Honda etc. Whatever it takes to make a customer to say yes TODAY.

I think I read the same article. I understand the economics of it, but I'm one of those people who loves color so it sucks for me.

Every rideshare vehicle I have had has been "white Camry" "Black Honda" and that is supposed to help me identify the vehicle? Ubiquity. My life will be made whole when I see on my phone screen "Jesus in a Red Mercedes". (That should be Jésus)

This makes me happy that it was such a huge pain in the ass to find my car. Because now I know the odds of another car, exactly the same color/trim and stitching as mine is basically non-existent.

^ ha ha, perhaps. so boring and safe. we get it.

lots of workplaces require 'back in only' parking. or pull through if there are back-to-back spots. before we moved downtown, my workplace was the same. sends a message about workplace safety. plus, operating clients often have the same policy so they expect Contractors to follow suit.
